Job summary

Mitti by SafetyCulture is seeking an Integrations-focused engineer to design and deliver scalable integrations that connect GTM, Product, Design and Engineering teams. You will help accelerate value delivery, build reusable tooling, and shape the roadmap while working in a hybrid model.

You will leverage SQL, APIs, and scripting to automate and streamline deployments, while communicating complex concepts clearly to engineers and business stakeholders. Equity awaits high performers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, APIs and integration patterns.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Fluent use of AI coding assistants and automation tools for secure development.
• Self-directed, customer-first problem solver who context-switches easily and prioritises team success.

Responsibilities

• Scoping, designing, building, testing, and handing off standard integration projects end-to-end within defined timelines and budgets.
• Collaborating with GTM & Engineering during pre-sales and deployment to accelerate value and collect feedback for Product.
• Identifying recurring patterns to build shared scripts, templates and automations across customer accounts.
• Advising customers on sustainable system architecture and managing scope.

This role exists to unlock technical value for Mitti's customers by designing and delivering scalable integrations. It bridges the gap between Go-to-Market (GTM) and Product, Design & Engineering (PDE) to accelerate time-to-value within defined scope, timeline, and budget.

About You

• Technical Expertise: You have strong hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang).

• Language & Communication: You possess proven ability to explain complex technical concepts effortlessly to both engineers and business stakeholders.

• AI Leverage: You fluently use AI coding assistants and automation tools to accelerate spec drafting, data analysis, and code development securely.

• Mindset & Approach: You are a self-directed, customer-first problem solver who context-switches easily, balances standard methodologies with edge-case judgment, and prioritises team success.

How Will I Spend My Time?

• Delivering Technical Solutions: Scoping, designing, building, testing, and handing off standard integration and automation projects end-to-end within defined timelines and budgets.

• Partnering Across GTM & Engineering: Collaborating with Account Executives during pre-sales, joining forces with CSMs and Onboarding Managers to accelerate deployment, and bridging customer feedback to Product, Design & Engineering to shape the roadmap.

• Building Scalable Tooling: Identifying recurring technical patterns to build shared scripts, templates, and automations that reduce delivery effort across all customer accounts.

• Managing Scope & Architecture: Advising customers on sustainable system architecture, managing package boundaries, and escalating custom requirements effectively.
