Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers and engineering teams on the Incydr product. You will diagnose issues, tailor solutions, and help customers achieve full operational health through hands-on troubleshooting and integration work.

Embedded in Incydr Engineering, you’ll gain access to source code and deployment tooling, enabling fast problem solving and proactive improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software, including troubleshooting or supporting that software with customers or in live production environments.
• Ability to read and navigate large codebases and contribute fixes via code reviews.
• Scripting and integration experience to build purpose-built solutions quickly, using AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical pain points across deployments, from initial rollout to performance tuning.
• Own each engagement from diagnosis to resolution, collaborating with customers while account teams manage relationships.
• Access Incydr codebase and deployment tooling to understand how things work and ship fixes through standard reviews.
