Job summary

Pendo in London is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to own strategic Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You will lead technical strategy for complex deployments and partner with Account Directors to drive customer value.

You will build repeatable frameworks, coach peers, and use AI tools to accelerate content creation, surface patterns across accounts, and raise the capability of the Customer Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with customers and building strong relationships.
• 5–8 years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience managing strategic Enterprise accounts with executive stakeholders.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems with multiple variables.
• Experience linking technical work to business outcomes (retention, ROI).
• Hands-on use of AI tools integrated into daily work.
• Experience mentoring junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers and support pre-sales for expansion.
• Drive measurable improvements in customer health and retention.
• Identify opportunities to expand adoption across features and products.
• Lead onboarding for strategic customers with planning and integrations.
• Develop playbooks and coach peers to improve team workflows.
• Assess account health and proactively manage risks with executives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical challenges.
