Job summary

Whittington Health NHS Trust in London is seeking a committed Band 7 Radiographer with MRI and/or CT skills to rotate across modalities and lead the department. You will supervise radiographers and students and provide professional guidance in a busy community setting.

You will contribute to audit, quality assurance and service development while maintaining safe, patient-centred care. The role includes line management duties and rostering within the six-day rota.

Qualifications

• Evidence of MRI/CT imaging skills and safe practice in a busy setting.
• Experience in supervising radiographers, students and assistants.
• Ability to support audit, quality assurance and service development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality MRI and CT examinations and ensure image quality.
• Assess imaging referrals and operate within IR(ME)R and delegated responsibilities.
• Administer IV contrast and manage patient suitability and safety.
• Maintain ILS competency and respond to clinical emergencies.
• Provide senior clinical support and supervision to staff and trainees.
• Support workforce allocation and six-day shift rota and service development.
