Job summary

Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Romford is seeking a Band 7 CT Radiographer to join our radiology department. The CT service operates across four sites and you will lead the technical team, organize day-to-day running, and supervise staff.

You will work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and nights in a 7-day department, ensure training and appraisals, and help maintain high patient care standards.

• Essential to be a good communicator and team player.
• Capable of working unassisted, within a team, and leading day-to-day running of the modality.
• Able to manage and develop staff, with training and appraisals.
• Demonstrate high standards of patient care and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical/radiographer staff and develop an efficient CT service.
• Standardise CT protocols, manage patient bookings and waiting lists.
• Supervise radiographers and radiology support within all CT areas.
• Provide training and competency assessments for staff.
• Contribute to service improvements and workforce transformation.
