Job summary

Oceania Cruises and Regent seven Seas Cruises seek a 1st Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join the Engine department aboard our cruise ships. The role covers maintenance and repair of electrical plant and systems, under guidance of the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer.

Embarkation is ASAP with a 12 weeks on/off rotation. STCW certificates and ETO CoC per STCW Reg.III/6 are required, plus a proven track record on cruise ships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the same position on board cruise ships.
• All valid STCW certificates, ETO CoC as per STCW Reg.III/6.
• Strong employment record with positive performance evaluations and/or recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of the electrical plant and related systems as designated by the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer.
• Commit to safety and environmental stewardship; regular reporting on system issues.
• Assist with propulsion and vessel systems under supervision.
