Job summary

Itchyfeet is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join its Risk team, responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing credit risk across lending, trading and investment activities. You will contribute to informed credit decisions while ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Commerce or related discipline.
• 5-7 years' experience in credit assessment and lending within banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, repayment structures, collateral management and credit processes.

Responsibilities

• Critically assess valuation assumptions, cash flows, loan-to-value ratios, debt-service and interest-cover metrics, and collateral arrangements.
• Design or challenge security packages and collateral structures, including intercreditor terms and enforcement priorities.
• Make credit decisions and recommendations in line with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate credit risks through appropriate security structures and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
