Job summary

Together, based in Cheadle, is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to oversee first line credit risk management, help develop product risk standards, and support risk committees with timely portfolio insights. The role involves analysing concentrations, forecasting arrears, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective risk strategies across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerical field with strong analytical ability.
• Experience in a credit risk environment is essential.
• Solid data analysis skills using quantitative tools.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data extraction.
• Advanced Excel skills for modelling and forecasting.
• Understanding of secured lending risk management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee first line credit risk management activity and reporting.
• Analyse portfolio risks and provide updates to risk committees.
• Identify trends from regular risk reporting and advise actions.
• Support 2nd line governance and routine oversight.
• Develop and refine credit risk strategies and policies.
• Assist in product and strategy monitoring and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage key pockets of risk.
• Contribute to affordability and valuation strategy development.
• Maintain governance, procedures and records.
