Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is recruiting a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Client’s expanding Finance Team in Manchester. You will own credit assessments, manage risk and support business decisions within a well-established organisation.

You will assess credit applications, monitor limits, review financial statements, identify risks and prepare reports for senior management, while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst
• Strong credit risk assessment and financial analysis
• Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing creditworthiness
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems
• Proactive and able to work independently

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assessing credit applications and reviewing customer financial information to determine creditworthiness
• Managing and monitoring customer credit limits, ensuring they remain appropriate
• Reviewing credit reports, financial statements and payment histories
• Identifying potential credit risks and recommending appropriate action
• Monitoring outstanding debt and customer accounts, highlighting any concerns
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Supporting the development and improvement of credit policies and procedures
• Preparing credit reports and providing recommendations to senior management
• Supporting the wider Finance Team with credit control and risk management activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within a Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst role
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial analysis
• Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing customer creditworthiness
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to make informed decisions and manage competing priorities
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
