Job summary

Page Personnel is partnering with a global consumer goods business in Rochdale to recruit for a Senior Credit Control role. The position is office-based, full-time, and initially temporary with a view to permanency. You will manage the credit control process and drive collections to ensure timely payments.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate customer account records, resolve invoicing disputes, and report on aged debt. Collaboration with finance and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control.
• Available for temporary role with opportunity to go permanent.
• Ability to commute to Rochdale office full-time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the credit control process to ensure prompt payment from customers.
• Monitor outstanding debts and implement effective collection strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts.
• Resolve queries and disputes related to invoicing and payments efficiently.
• Prepare and present regular reports on aged debt and collection performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in assessing creditworthiness and setting credit limits for new and existing clients.
• Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
