What You'll Bring:

We’re seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join our growing team.

Day to Day You’ll Be:
  1. Collection of overdue invoices.
  2. Chasing overdue debts via telephone, email, or letter.
  3. Arranging promises to pay with debtors, including details like name and expected payment date.
  4. Collaborating with the team to achieve optimal results in the Credit Control Department.
  5. Prioritizing tasks, adhering to company standards, and escalating debts as per credit policy.
  6. Monitoring and escalating accounts as necessary.
  7. Ensuring debtor days and cash targets are met, resolving queries promptly, and escalating delinquent debts for litigation.
  8. Building relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.
  9. Overseeing the Direct Debt run on PeopleSoft.
  10. Managing monthly credit note provisions.
  11. Inputting LOVs into the billing system monthly.
  12. Clearing daily error reports with billing team members.
  13. Managing complex client billing analysis monthly.
  14. Handling complex billing inquiries and raising manual bills and credit notes as needed.
  15. Providing high-level customer service to internal and external clients.
  16. Keeping managers and stakeholders updated on work progress.
  17. Managing and owning assigned tasks independently.
  18. Delivering tasks within deadlines and providing insights in reports and meetings.
  19. Resolving issues efficiently, aiming for first-touch resolution.
  20. Leading delegated processes under manager supervision.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • At least 2 years of Credit Control or related customer service experience.
