Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Account & Project Manager to bridge creative and business objectives in a fast-paced UK environment. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary programs, mentor project managers, and strengthen client relationships while ensuring operational excellence.

In this role, you’ll own accountability for delivery, drive strategic reviews, and collaborate with brand, marketing, and operations teams to optimize processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in account and project management in creative, corporate, or marketing settings.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience with mentoring and development of teams.
• Strong understanding of creative workflows, marketing campaign planning, and integrated media.
• Proven ability to lead complex programs across teams, functions, and geographies.
• Exceptional communication and high emotional intelligence, with negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong client relationship management, anticipating needs, providing strategic counsel, and building trust.
• Proven leadership to motivate and guide a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work swiftly and meet timelines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Agile certification or Agile marketing experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with project management tools such as Workfront, Asana, or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the creative team and assigned business units.
• Build relationships with internal partners and align creative solutions with business objectives.
• Lead onboarding and integration of new partners into the creative organization.
• Identify opportunities to expand the creative team’s value and influence.
• Lead strategic execution of high-visibility creative programs and projects.
• Translate complex, multi-channel initiatives into project scopes and resource plans.
• Drive clarity in work planning, tracking, and measurement.
• Own account health, delivery performance, and partner satisfaction.
• Monitor critical metrics, report progress to leadership, and adjust plans.
• Support and mentor a team of project managers.
• Promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing strategy, creative, and operations teams.
• Establish and follow standards, processes, and workflows.
• Align account and project management practices with creative and business goals.
• Lead quarterly and monthly business reviews.
• Evaluate account processes and tools, identify improvements, and implement operational-efficiency solutions.
• Partner with operations and finance teams on budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization
