Principal Resourcing are seeking to recruit a Senior Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Scarborough to work on an ongoing, full-time basis.

This role will manage planned absence requests and day-to-day absences of teaching and support staff. The successful Senior Cover Supervisor will provide short-term cover for absent teaching staff, allocating pre-prepared work, keeping students on task, and managing student behaviour during lessons. The role does not involve planning, preparing, delivering lessons, or assessing and reporting on students' development, progress, and attainment.

This role is ideal for those considering taking a next step towards a career in teaching or stepping back from a teaching role. It offers opportunities for experience across a range of subjects and year groups.
