Reuters in London is seeking a Senior Counsel to advise on complex SaaS and technology transactions, supporting Thomson Reuters global products and services. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and advising on customer and partner agreements, data protection, hosting, and related commercial matters.

You will work with Sales, Product Management and other business teams, focusing on practical, risk-aware solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years PQE in private practice and/or in-house advising on sell-side technology transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• German, French or Spanish language skills or experience in those jurisdictions are an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills; strong contract and commercial law knowledge.
• Authorisation to practise law.

Aufgaben

• Review, draft and negotiate customer-facing and partner agreements, incl. SaaS, licensing, data protection and security.
• Identify legal, regulatory and compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Advise internal stakeholders on appropriate legal actions and enterprise-wide issues.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel Office and cross-functional teams.
