You'll be a hands‑on commercial lawyer with deep experience on the supplier (sell) side of technologytransactions. You'll also take a practical, problem-solving approach and work in a technology‑enabled, data‑driven legal department. You'll be a trusted advisor to Sales, Product Management and other business teams. You'll spot and analyse legal issues, draft and negotiate agreements, give commercially sound recommendations, and ensure legal compliance. We want someone who makes working with Legal simple and efficient, for both internal stakeholders and customers. The role sits within the Customers & Commercial team of the Thomson Reuters General Counsel Office. This highly collaborative team helps the business grow while managing risk across Thomson Reuters' customer‑facing commercial organisation.

Work within the Customers & Commercial team identifying legal, regulatory and compliance requirements and risks associated with various business initiatives and developing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. Work with members of the General Counsel Office on enterprise‑wide legal issues and projects. Research and respond to general legal inquiries from ThomsonReuters internal customers that relate to corporate, commercial, intellectual property and compliance matters, including privacy‑related matters, and advise business on appropriate legal action to be taken.
