Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor with extensive post-qualification track record in high value procurements and contract management.
• Experience advising on commercial law for design, build and operation projects in the rail sector.
• Strong ability to provide high quality legal support with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage provision of a full range of legal advice on procurement, contracts, FOI, and insurance matters.
• Draft documents and provide advice to staff at all levels on commercial law relating to rail projects.
• Attend senior level meetings and act as a main legal contact to internal stakeholders.
• Advise on resolution of contractual claims and disputes, without formal litigation where possible.
• Manage external solicitors, budgets, and timescales; promote high quality internal legal services.
• Act as SME on UK GDPR and TUPE; support insurance matters and board reporting.
