Sizewell C Company, via the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across the civil works programme of Sizewell C. You will advise on NEC4 contracts, risk management, and compliance, partnering with internal teams and external counsel.

You will lead contractual advisory, manage disputes, and help develop and embed contract standards. Requires 7+ years PQE in construction and a solid track record on energy/infrastructure projects.

Competenze

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 7+ years PQE in construction and major projects.
• Experience on high-value energy/infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic legal support and management across all phases of Sizewell C civil works.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts and NDAs.
• Advise on legal issues, risks and mitigations to project teams.
• Develop and embed NEC4-based contract standards and processes.
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
