Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Planner/Senior Cost Planner for infrastructure projects in the UK. You will produce accurate estimates and cost plans for rail, airports, highways, water or utilities, and support the estimating process across live programmes.

This role offers the option to work remotely from the UK on estimating tasks while delivering value for major programmes in a collaborative, professional environment with a focus on quality and best practice in cost management.

Qualifications

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Experience delivering estimating or QS services on large project environments.
• Experience with estimating software packages.
• Membership of a professional body with chartered status or working towards.
• Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB /A. Cost E.

Responsabilités

• Produce accurate estimates and cost plans for large or complex programmes or projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Control and management of the estimating process at project level.
• Produce estimates without management or supervision.
• Support development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
• Assist in the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Staying abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise to give best practice advice.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive Estimates and Cost Plans for large or complex Programmes or projects in a timely and efficient manner
• Support the change control process of their projects
• Support development of demonstration of Value for Money through production of reports and benchmarking analysis
• Undertake commercial assurance and negotiation of contractors offers

Formation

Estimating/Quantity Surveying

Estimating/QS professional body membership

Estimating software experience

Chartered status or working towards

RICS/CIOB/ACICostE membership
