Job Title: Senior Cost Negotiator

Location: Hybrid - Office locations in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Southport

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Managing own caseload using case management software
  2. Instructing Counsel for assessments or conducting hearings
  3. Achieving recovery targets
  4. Accurately valuing cases
  5. Communicating regularly with fee earners
  6. Providing updates on forecasts, recoveries, and issue files
  7. Meeting daily chargeable hours targets
  8. Keeping MI data up to date
  9. Managing aged debt
  10. Reviewing points of dispute
  11. Assisting in bundle preparation
  12. Adhering to SLA and pipeline metrics
  13. Providing costs advice to legal teams
  14. Participating in team meetings and providing feedback
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Experience handling high-value litigation and negotiations
  2. Proficiency with Proclaim and Cost Master
  3. Strong organisational and communication skills
  4. Excellent time management and initiative
  5. Teamwork and attention to detail
  6. Ability to meet tight deadlines
