Senior Cost Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor - Aviation

We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for a high-profile aviation project in west London. The role involves managing contract commercial activities, supporting procurement, advising on tendering, handling post-contract activities, managing contractual risks, and ensuring project cost control and close-out in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contract commercial & cost activities for the sub-programme.
• Support procurement strategies and contract awards.
• Provide advice on tendering and supplier selection.
• Handle post-contract commercial activities, including change management and payment applications.
• Assist contractors in maintaining transparency and data integrity.
• Respond to contractor notifications and manage contractual liabilities.
• Proactively resolve contractual issues and escalate disputes when necessary.
• Evaluate cost impacts of alternative delivery strategies.
• Support the development of team practices and ensure adherence to client processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in tendering, procurement, target price negotiation, contract change management (NEC environment), valuations, and claims.
• Previous airport project experience is advantageous.
