Job summary

Peoplewithenergy is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our Project Controls team supporting Sizewell C. You will own cost management activities, provide forecasting expertise and timely cost reporting to programme leadership, ensuring financial clarity and informed decision-making.

You will collaborate with Commercial and Finance, applying EVM to assess performance, identify risks and drive improvements across cost systems and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost management or project controls on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting skills.
• Experience applying EVM in complex environments.
• Advanced analytical abilities with large datasets.
• Experience with EcoSys, PRISM or Cobra.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production, analysis and review of programme cost performance information.
• Manage forecasting activities including EAC, ETC and cost trending.
• Deliver accurate cost reports for project leadership teams.
• Apply Earned Value Management to assess performance and risks.
• Analyse cost data and translate findings into management information.
• Provide assurance on forecast accuracy and cost assumptions.
• Support budget management, change control and re-baselining.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Finance to align reporting.
• Assess cost impact of changes and support change management.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost management procedures.
