Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to support reporting, forecasting and financial control for a major nuclear programme. The role is hybrid, based in London, with regular travel to Ipswich every other week and eligibility to obtain security clearance.

You will be responsible for cost reporting, forecasting, budget control and collaboration with project controls teams to ensure robust cost management across a complex programme.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cost engineering or project controls.
• Strong cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.
• Experience with cost assurance and performance analysis.
• Experience on major infrastructure or nuclear projects.
• Ability to communicate financial data to multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost reporting, forecasting and budget control.
• Prepare financial reports and performance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Support cost assurance activities and identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets, forecasts and objectives.
• Work with project controls teams to maintain cost management processes.
• Provide cost information and insight across the programme.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
