Job summary

Pick Everard seeks a Senior Cost Manager in Glasgow with flexible location. The role is seconded to a defence-sector client, with 3–5 days per week workload to start. Independent work ethic, strong commercial and client-management experience required.

Qualifications

• Chartered Surveyor with post-chartered experience (desirable).
• Member of RICS.
• Strong track record in consultancy Quantity Surveying and cost management.
• Thorough understanding of JCT and NEC3 forms.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates, BOQs, contract docs and reports with accuracy.
• Audit/cost checks of construction and FM contracts.
• Identify and quantify cost risks, monitor budgets, contingencies and cash flow.
• Lead design team meetings and advise on cost control matters.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across projects.
