Butler Rose is seeking a Senior Cost Controller in Barrow-in-Furness for a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role provides financial oversight across maintenance programmes, inspections, modifications and capital expenditure, guiding budget holders and ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly through reports and presentations.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Produce monthly accrual calculations and OPEX forecasts, maintaining cost trackers for month-end reporting.
• Analyse SAP data such as Value of Work Done (VOWD) with JREs and Finance for accurate reporting.
• Monitor and coordinate timewriting across assets, guiding the Cost Controller team.
• Assess contractor and supplier cost submissions against approved figures and investigate variances.
• Evaluate expenditure patterns and contract performance to identify efficiencies and savings.
• Provide regular financial updates to support business decisions.
