Job summary

Associated British Ports (ABP) is seeking a seasoned Cost & Contract Manager to join the Humber team. You’ll lead cost, commercial and contract management on major infrastructure programmes, from business case through to final account.

This role requires deep experience across the full project lifecycle, NEC4 contract administration, and the ability to provide strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders. Travel to project sites across the Humber area is required up to three days per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost, commercial and contract management within major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing commercial activities across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience developing and implementing commercial and contract strategies.
• Strong expertise in cost planning, forecasting, risk management and commercial reporting.
• Exceptional knowledge of NEC4 suite and contract administration.
• Experience authoring, negotiating and managing complex contracts.
• Experience supporting procurement strategies and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and contract management on major infrastructure projects.
• Influence commercial strategy on high-value construction programmes.
• Negotiate and administer NEC4 contracts on behalf of ABP.
• Manage commercial risk and maximise value throughout project delivery.
• Support procurement and supplier selection activities.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to senior stakeholders and project teams.
• Contribute to projects that support national infrastructure, trade and renewable energy ambitions.
