Job summary

Associated British Ports (ABP) is seeking an experienced Cost & Contract Manager to join the Humber team. Based in the Humber region with travel to project sites up to three days per week, you will lead cost, commercial and contract activities across the full project lifecycle.

You will influence strategy on high-value infrastructure programmes and negotiate NEC4 contracts on behalf of ABP, ensuring value, risk control and successful delivery across major projects worth substantial sums.

Qualifications

• You will have substantial experience in cost, commercial and contract management on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC4 contracts, procurement strategy and lifecycle commercial activities is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and reporting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and contract management activities on major infrastructure projects.
• Influence commercial strategy on high-value construction programmes.
• Negotiate and administer NEC4 contracts on behalf of ABP.
• Manage commercial risk and maximise value throughout project delivery.
• Support procurement and supplier selection activities.
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and project teams.
