Job summary

Associated British Ports (ABP) Humber team is seeking a seasoned Cost & Contract Manager to lead cost, risk and contract management across major infrastructure projects valued at over £100 million. You will work with project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists to shape commercial outcomes.

You will influence contract strategy, negotiate NEC4 agreements, manage commercial risk, and provide strategic commercial guidance to senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost, commercial and contract management.
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and contract management activities on major infrastructure projects
• Influence commercial strategy on high-value construction programmes
• Negotiate and administer NEC4 contracts on behalf of ABP
• Manage commercial risk and maximise value throughout project delivery
• Support procurement and supplier selection activities
• Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and project teams
• Contribute to projects supporting national infrastructure, trade and renewables ambitions
