Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates in Glasgow seeks a Solicitor to join its corporate team. You will handle a broad range of corporate matters, including start-ups, M&A, private equity, and governance issues for private and public-sector clients.

With 5+ years' PQE, you will advise on governance, commercial contracts and support other teams within the firm. The role is based in Glasgow and requires siting in the office.

Responsibilities

Job description

This firm are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor to join its corporate team based in Glasgow. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years’+ pqe and will be involved in providing ongoing corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of private and public-sector clients.

Your will be involved in the following:

• A wide range of corporate law matters, including start-ups, M&A transactions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, investments, reorganisations, shareholder/investment agreements and some AIM work
• Partnerships, LLPs and Scottish Limited Partnerships
• Advising clients on corporate governance issues such as director’s conflict of interest, board composition, trading issues and shareholder relations
• Advising clients on commercial contracts on occasion
• Providing corporate support to other teams within the firm
