Job summary

The Freeths corporate team is expanding and now comprises a national group of over 70 corporate lawyers, operating from 12 UK locations. The East Midlands Corporate team seeks a senior lawyer with 7+ years’ PQE to handle the full range of corporate work with autonomy and to supervise junior colleagues.

You will contribute to deals, maintain strong financial and compliance hygiene, and develop client relationships with support from the senior team.

Qualifications

• Involved in the full range of corporate work (M&A, private equity, restructurings).
• Strong autonomy and ability to supervise junior team members.
• Good organisational and housekeeping skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute deals and client instructions with senior oversight.
• Supervise and train more junior team members on day-to-day matters.
• Lead and participate in business development initiatives and client relationship building.
• Collaborate across offices and practice areas to deliver seamless client service.
