Job summary

Major, Lindsey & Africa is recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel (Corporate) for London to support a fast-growing international business at a pivotal stage. The role involves providing strategic, commercial legal advice on high-value corporate matters, including M&A, financing, governance, treasury and ESG, with close collaboration across senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in UK, US or other common law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 6+ years' PQE in corporate/M&A.
• Experience from leading law firm or in-house legal team.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic corporate transactions including M&A, investments and financing projects.
• Advise on corporate governance, treasury, investor relations, restructurings and ESG matters.
• Partner with senior leaders to deliver practical, solutions-focused legal advice.
• Manage external counsel and support legal process improvements.
• Contribute to the development of a collaborative, high-performing legal function.
