Job summary

Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP’s Corporate team in Guildford seeks a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to manage a full range of corporate work, including M&A, spin-outs and venture capital transactions, with high client exposure.

The role offers hybrid working (up to 50% remote) and opportunities for development, leadership of juniors, and active involvement in business development with partner support.

Qualifications

• SRA Qualified - 6+ PQE
• Solid background as an Associate or Senior associate in private practice
• Experience of supervising juniors and running transactions from start to finish
• Previous BD experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work on a full range of corporate transactions, in particular M&A, spin-outs and venture capital transactions, and ongoing company law/corporate advice
• Drafting transaction documents and legal advice, transaction management and engaging with clients and third parties to help deliver our transactions
• Get involved with the team’s business development activities
