Job summary

Penningtons Manches LLP seeks a talented Associate (5+ years' PQE) to join its Commercial Real Estate team in London. You will handle acquisitions, disposals, portfolio transactions and landlord/tenant matters, while supporting development projects and RE aspects of corporate finance deals.

Ideal candidates are ambitious, proactive, and capable of building lasting client relationships. The firm supports hybrid agile working, up to 50% remote, and values inclusivity and growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with ~5+ years' PQE in CRE.
• Strong technical CRE skills and experience at a recognised practice.
• Commercially aware and solutions-driven.
• Proactive, energetic with ownership mindset and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and portfolio transactions.
• Acting on landlord and tenant matters, including leasing, asset management and strategy.
• Supporting development and regeneration projects.
• Advising on RE aspects of corporate and finance transactions.
• Managing day-to-day transaction processes.
• Building strong client relationships through excellent service.
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing and new client relationships.
• Contributing to business development and cross-practice collaboration.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate.
