Zusammenfassung

Sellick Partnership is seeking a Corporate Senior Associate in Dudley to lead day-to-day corporate transactions for business clients, from due diligence through to completion. You will draft and negotiate transaction documents, advise on corporate matters, and act as a primary client contact.

The role involves supervising junior lawyers, contributing to business development, and collaborating with senior lawyers to grow the corporate practice.

Qualifikationen

• 4-8 years' PQE, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to manage transactions, competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience supporting or supervising junior lawyers.
• Ambition to take on broader responsibility for team support, client development and business development.

Aufgaben

• Taking day-to-day ownership of corporate transactions for business clients, managing matters from due diligence and negotiation through to completion.
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and ancillary paperwork.
• Advising clients on corporate matters with sound commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Acting as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients and professional advisers, managing relationships directly and involving partners where appropriate.
• Supporting, training and developing junior solicitors and paralegals through involvement in live matters.
• Contributing to business development by strengthening existing relationships, developing new client and referrer connections, and supporting partners with pitches.
• Working collaboratively with senior lawyers and colleagues across the firm to support the continued development of the corporate practice.
