Job description

We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our Solution Engineering team within Salesforce for Nonprofits.

As a Solution Engineer, you will:

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to customers across EMEA, demonstrating Salesforce’s capabilities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and creating assets to support the team.
  2. Identify customer needs, align them with Salesforce solutions, and collaborate with account teams to drive success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver customized, story-driven demos highlighting business value and solution benefits.
  • Research and develop technical perspectives aligned with industry trends and customer goals.
  • Present Salesforce value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
  • Support customer-facing events to drive pipeline growth and customer engagement.
  • Complete relevant training and certifications to stay current.
  • Set and meet quarterly and annual goals with your manager.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support RFP/RFI processes by coordinating responses and preparing executive summaries.

Required Experience:

  • Passion for nonprofits and technology, with strategic thinking and a commitment to customer success.
  • Background in nonprofit management, operational roles, Salesforce technology, or enterprise technology sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform (pre-sales, implementation, or post-sales) is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills across business and technical domains.
  • Excellent critical thinking, strategic vision, and communication skills.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce Clouds, AI, and Agentforce.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Admin 201 and Nonprofit Cloud Consultant.
  • Pre-sales, consulting, or professional services experience.
  • Languages: French and/or Spanish are highly preferred.
