Job summary

SSE Smart Buildings is seeking a Senior Coordinator to lead our Administration team in Maxim Park Office, coordinating engineers and ensuring projects run on time across Scotland.

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, full time with Flexible First options and a base location requiring 50% in our Motherwell office. You will manage daily admin tasks, support billings, timesheets, and maintain strong communication with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in office administration or project coordination, preferably in the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) or construction industry.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of BEMS or HVAC systems is a plus, but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage an internal team on a daily basis.
• Coordinate and schedule engineers for site visits in line with customer requirements.
• Ensure all administrative processes and procedures are followed to keep projects running smoothly.
• Maintain regular contact with customers' representatives to arrange site visits and handle queries.

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator to lead our Administration team based in our Maxim Park Office, supporting our projects across Scotland. As a key member of our operations, you will coordinate the activities of a team of engineers to ensure services are delivered on time and to the customer's satisfaction. This is initially a one year contract, but there's a strong possibility of continued employment.

You will

You have
