Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Cook to lead the kitchen team at Home Farm nursing care home. You will oversee day-to-day operations, plan menus, manage ordering and stock, and ensure meals are prepared safely and to a high standard.

You will support residents and families with dignity and choice, ensure compliance with food safety legislation and NHS Highland policies, and work with the wider care team to provide person-centred dining experiences.

You will lead catering staff, plan menus, manage food ordering and stock control, and ensure compliance with food safety legislation and NHS Highland policies.

You will work closely with residents, families, and the wider care team to provide choice, dignity, and person-centred dining experiences.
