Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment in Manchester seeks an experienced Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to join the team. The role targets senior-level residential conveyancing with a strong compliance focus, offering hybrid working to suit an experienced solicitor.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide high-quality legal advice, and oversee matters from instruction to completion while mentoring colleagues and supporting CQS compliance and MLRO responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Senior-level experience and management capability are advantageous.
• Strong communication, client care and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and CQS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
• Provide high-quality legal advice and client care throughout transactions.
• Manage matters independently from instruction through to completion.
• Support the wider conveyancing team and contribute at a senior level.
• Assist with the management of CQS compliance requirements.
• Support MLRO responsibilities and wider compliance processes.
• Ensure the department operates in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the conveyancing team.

Job description

My client is recruiting for an experienced Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team in Manchester.

This is an opportunity for an experienced conveyancing solicitor to take on a senior level role within a supportive team, with management experience advantageous. The role offers hybrid working and would suit someone with strong experience in residential conveyancing and compliance.

The Role

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
• Providing high quality legal advice and client care throughout transactions.
• Managing matters independently from instruction through to completion.
• Supporting the wider conveyancing team and contributing at a senior level.
• Assisting with the management of CQS compliance requirements.
• Supporting MLRO responsibilities and wider compliance processes.
• Ensuring the department operates in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the continued development of the conveyancing team.

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor with 6 or more years' PQE.
• Have substantial experience in residential conveyancing.
• Have experience working at senior level within a conveyancing team.
• Management experience would be advantageous.
• Be confident managing a caseload independently.
• Have excellent communication, organisational and client care skills.
• Be commercially aware and committed to maintaining high professional standards.
