Job summary

adi Group in Wirral is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to own automation projects from requirements through to commissioning and handover. You will develop control solutions from scratch and provide technical expertise across the project lifecycle in industries like food, beverage, chemical and marine.

Key responsibilities include liaising with clients, designing and programming PLC/HMI/SCADA systems on Rockwell and Siemens platforms, and supporting FAT and site start-up.

Qualifications

• Experience in control systems engineering for turnkey automation projects.
• Ability to translate client requirements into practical control solutions.
• Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to capture requirements and design solutions.
• Own projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Design, develop and program PLC, HMI and SCADA systems from scratch.
• Develop PLC software on Rockwell and/or Siemens platforms.
• Design and implement HMI/SCADA systems.
• Support FAT, commissioning and site start-up; resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with electrical, process safety and software engineers to deliver turnkey solutions.
