Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for)

Type - Permanent

My engineering client is looking to hire a Control Systems Engineer on a permanent basis in the Berkshire area.

Key attributes for the Control Systems Engineer include:

• Degree/HND/HNC/NVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with electrical systems and components such as inverters, power supplies, switches, relays, and circuit breakers
• At least 4 years of industry experience in a similar Electrical Controls role
• Hands-on project experience from concept to completion
• Excellent attention to detail
• Electrical wiring/layout experience using CAD
• Experience with Ethernet, Profibus, or similar communication protocols
• Knowledge of CAD software – ideally Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to travel as needed

Role responsibilities include:

• Development, design, programming, and support of control systems for industrial machinery and automation equipment
• Participating in all phases from design to coding, testing, installation, documentation, and support
• Leading the electrical department
