Job summary

ERSG Ltd in the South West is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to own a portfolio of highways and infrastructure projects valued from 1m to 15m. You will lead delivery teams, drive safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance while shaping future work through frameworks and competitive tenders.

The role requires proven contract-management within highways or civil engineering, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering infrastructure across multiple schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven contracts manager experience within highways or civil engineering.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects and managing multiple schemes.
• Experience under framework agreements and tender environments.
• Commercially aware with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS and a full UK driving licence.
• Must have full UK working rights as this role does NOT offer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of highways and civil engineering projects
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and commercial targets are met.
• Support the development of new business opportunities and tender submissions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
• Provide leadership and direction to project and site teams.
