Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager – Fit-Out to lead commercial fit-out projects nationwide, with a base in Hampshire and diary-dependent hybrid travel. The role centers on delivering retail, hospitality, educational and residential fit-outs from contract to close-out.

You will monitor progress, health & safety and quality, liaise with main clients, subcontractors and suppliers, and oversee snagging, close-out, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Must have Contracts Management experience within the Fit-Out sector.
• Experience dealing with a Main-contractor preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracts and project management for commercial fit-out projects across sectors.
• Regular site visits nationwide to monitor progress and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, direct labour, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare tasks for installations team and plan works to meet budget and schedule.
• Oversee projects typically up to £25m in value.

The role of the Contracts Manager – Fit-Out will involve:

• Contracts / Project Manager position dealing with a range of commercial fit-out projects for retail, hospitality, educational or residential environments
• Regular site visits nationally to monitor project progress, health & safety compliance and contractor performance
• Work closely with main clients, direct labour, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of projects
• Carrying out health & safety reports, quality assurance, snagging, and close out with daily
• Preparing work tasks for the installations team and strategic planning of works
• Monitoring each stage of the project ensuring resources are productive and the delivery schedule is being met within budget
• Oversee projects typically up to £25m in value

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Fit-Out with:

• Must have Contracts Management experience within the Fit-Out sector, open to candidates from shop fitting, office fit-out or commercial refurbishment
• Ideal for a candidate to have experience dealing with a Main-contractor
• Fresh outlook with the ability to adapt and influence
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to hit the ground running
