Job summary

Guildmore Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a Midlands & North team, delivering a portfolio of construction contracts from mobilisation to completion and defects close-out. The role provides visible leadership across projects, ensuring safe, on-programme delivery to high quality standards and exceptional customer service.

You will take overall operational responsibility, work with project, commercial, SHEQ and customer service teams, clients, consultants and our supply

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple construction contracts or a major complex contract.
• Strong programme management experience, including Microsoft Project or equivalent.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, change control, notices and contractual requirements.
• Experience with commercial forecasting, cash flow, cost-to-complete and risk management.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing project teams and supply chains.
• A strong understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and construction information-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading multiple contracts from mobilisation through to completion.
• Managing programme, delivery, quality, safety and compliance.
• Monitoring commercial performance, cash flow, forecasts, risks and opportunities.
• Ensuring contractual obligations, notices, records and reporting are managed effectively.
• Leading project teams and managing subcontractor performance.
• Building strong relationships with clients, residents and key stakeholders.
• Driving quality, defect resolution and audit-ready project records.
• Identifying and implementing recovery plans where projects face programme, commercial or delivery challenges.
• Developing and supporting project teams through effective leadership, coaching and performance management.
