Job summary

Guildmore Midlands & North is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget control. You will drive design, procurement and construction activities, manage subcontractors and site teams, and maintain quality with a focus on value engineering.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of contracts and commercial management, with SMSTS and First Aid qualifications highly

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years construction project management experience.
• Proven experience in cladding remediation and residential construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and commercial management.
• Experience with high-rise and RC frame projects preferred.
• SMSTS and First Aid qualifications required.
• Construction-related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects across design, commercial and production.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, resources and project programmes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Ensure full health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities.
• Monitor progress, costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Maintain project programmes, reports and risk registers.
• Drive quality standards and inspection plans.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
• Lead coordination meetings and achieve project objectives.
