Job summary

Bell Building Projects Limited in London is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget compliance.

You will lead site teams, manage client and subcontractor relationships, and coordinate with commercial and operations from mobilisation through to handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager in construction.
• Strong understanding of contract management and project programming.
• Ability to lead and develop site-based teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the delivery of multiple projects from mobilisation to practical completion and handover.
• Managing Project Managers and site teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitoring programmes, budgets and performance, addressing delays or risks.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and client requirements.
• Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to control costs and procurement.
• Managing client, consultant and subcontractor relationships.
• Leading progress meetings and reporting to senior management.
• Ensuring adequate labour, materials and resources for project needs.
• Maintaining health and safety compliance and quality records.
• Supporting pre-construction and tender activities as needed.
