Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Contracts Manager – Construction to oversee a high-quality range of new build and refurbishment projects across industrial, residential and commercial sectors. You will plan programmes, manage procurement and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Based in Lancashire with coverage across the North West, the role involves coordinating site and project teams, monitoring progress and budgets, and managing subcontractor performance.

Qualifications

• Contracts management experience in construction industry (on-site and office)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving on site
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Organised and hardworking, with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Oversee a broad range of new build and refurbishment projects across industrial, commercial and residential sectors
• Plan and programme projects to meet detailed schedules and contractual requirements
• Manage procurement and material reconciliation to ensure best value
• Brief and support site/project teams on contractual obligations
• Carry out weekly reviews of progress, budgets, resources and forward planning
• Coordinate permanent and temporary staff and subcontractors to meet project needs
• Oversee projects up to £20m in value (typical £8m)
