Magenta Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the UK property services sector. You will ensure safe delivery, on-time completion, and adherence to budget while upholding quality standards.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate operational teams, monitor performance, and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, negotiation and risk management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Essential: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager/Projects manager in construction, facilities management or related sector.
• Essential: City and Guilds in a construction trade.
• Essential: Strong understanding of contract management principles and project delivery.
• Essential: Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Essential: Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
• Essential: Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Essential: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Essential: Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple contracts and projects from inception through to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, budgets and timescales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, profitability and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure health and safety compliance and quality standards.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Review and negotiate contract terms, variations and change controls.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
• Lead, motivate and support project teams including site managers and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards and company policies.
• Assist with tender submissions, pricing and business development opportunities.
• Resolve contract disputes and operational issues efficiently and professionally.
