Job summary

Guildmore Limited is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a Midlands & North portfolio from mobilisation through to completion and defects close-out. You will provide visible leadership across projects, ensuring delivery safely, commercially, on programme and to high standards of quality and customer service.

You will engage with project teams, clients and our supply chain to drive performance, reporting, and continuous improvement across the contractor’s operations.

Qualifications

• Must have led multiple construction contracts or a major complex contract.
• Strong programme management experience with demonstrated delivery against schedules.
• Solid knowledge of construction contracts, change control, notices and contractual requirements.
• Experience in forecasting, cash flow, cost-to-complete and risk management.
• Proven leadership of project teams and supply chains.
• Sound understanding of safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS 365 and construction information-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple contracts from mobilisation through to completion.
• Manage programme, delivery, quality, safety and compliance.
• Monitor commercial performance, cash flow, forecasts, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure contractual obligations, notices, records and reporting are managed.
• Lead project teams and manage subcontractor performance.
• Build relationships with clients, residents and stakeholders.
• Drive defect resolution and maintain audit-ready project records.
• Develop recovery plans for projects facing challenges.
