Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property seeks a Contracts Manager to lead multi-site civil engineering and water infrastructure portfolios across Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire. You will drive delivery, safety, and commercial performance under NEC contracts while leading cross-functional teams.

You will also chair client meetings, manage stakeholders, and oversee pre-commencement and handover activities. The role offers £90,000 base salary plus executive car allowance or company vehicle options,

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Active SMSTS and CSCS credentials.
• Extensive experience managing multi-site civil engineering and water projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
• Experience with project programming tools (MS Project, P6) and tender pre-qualification processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and senior operational staff across multiple sites.
• Review CVRs, risk registers and monthly commercial forecasts.
• Drive HSE leadership and compliance through Senior Management Inspections on active sites.
• Chair client progress meetings and manage third-party stakeholders.
• Oversee pre-commencement and tender handover processes.
