Job summary

Lavant Consulting in London seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead delivery of architectural and structural steelwork projects from award through completion. You will coordinate with commercial, estimating, design, fabrication and site teams to ensure programmes, budgets and specifications are met, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering architectural/structural steelwork contracts.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication, engineering and installation processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent commercial awareness including variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Proven ability to manage contract programmes and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of a portfolio of architectural and structural steelwork contracts.
• Manage contracts from award to completion, including programme, cost and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, main contractors and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Design and Fabrication teams to align requirements and schedules.
• Lead site installation activities and manage subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Monitor programmes, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, commercial performance and key risks.
