Job summary

g2 Recruitment in London is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a specialist subcontractor delivering complex structural alteration and enabling works for Tier 1 contractors.

The role manages 3-4 live projects, reports to a Company Director, and ensures safety, programme, budget, and quality across pre-construction to handover. Ideal candidates have 5–6+ years as CM and 8+ years delivering structural alteration projects.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years' experience operating as a Contracts Manager.
• 8+ years' experience delivering structural alteration projects.
• Experience delivering for Tier 1 Main Contractors (e.g., Multiplex, Mace, Sir Robert McAlpine).
• Strong understanding of contract forms (JCT/NEC).
• Experience working for subcontractors rather than main contractors.

Responsibilities

• Managing 3-4 live projects simultaneously.
• Reporting to a Company Director.
• Overseeing delivery from pre-construction to completion.
• Managing client relationships with Tier 1 Main Contractors.
• Ensuring projects are safe, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Reviewing programmes, performance, commercial matters and contracts.
